Orders and availability
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order may be declined or delayed because of payment review, fish health, weather, legal restrictions, carrier availability, or an incorrect listing. Individually listed fish are sold one at a time and remain subject to final health assessment before shipment.
Customer eligibility
You must be legally able to enter a purchase agreement and to possess the species at the delivery address. The customer is responsible for checking state, local, lease, homeowners-association, and other applicable restrictions.
Fish appearance and sex
Color, pattern, fin shape, and body condition can change with growth, environment, stress, lighting, and maturation. Sex is stated as confirmed only when reasonably known; otherwise it is an estimate and is not guaranteed.
Care responsibility
By ordering, you confirm that an appropriate, cycled aquarium is ready and that you have reviewed adult size, tank requirements, aggression, and compatibility. Freshwater Freaks is not responsible for injury caused by incompatible tankmates or unsuitable aquarium conditions.
Shipping
Shipping dates are coordinated and may be postponed for animal welfare. The customer must provide an accurate deliverable address and be available at the agreed delivery method. Our Shipping and Live Arrival policies are incorporated into these terms.
Pricing and payments
Prices may change before an order is accepted. Payment must clear before shipment. Fraudulent or unauthorized transactions will be cancelled.
Limitations
To the extent allowed by applicable law, any remedy is limited to the amount paid for the affected product. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
These terms may be updated as our shipping services, policies, and legal obligations change. The version shown at checkout applies to that order.
